Alfonso
Alfonso is an awarded NASA research scientist with more than ten years of private tutoring education. He is passionate about education and continuous learning. He has completed three bachelor programs (theoretical physics, economics and law), two masters (astrophysics and space technology) and a PhD in physics in Spain.
After earning his PhD, Alfonso worked for the Spanish Research Council before being awarded with a NASA Postdoctoral Fellowship at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, where he continues doing research at the Climate and Radiation Laboratory. He has published research about physics, mathematics, economics, and law, and is a proficient data scientist with knowledge of several programming languages.
Alfonso has taught both children and adults in regular classes and test preparation courses, including students with ADHD. His teaching approach is to simplify the subjects until the student is comfortable with the core concepts, and then build the skills gradually until the topic is mastered. He does so not only by explaining the material to students, but also by teaching them how to learn anything.
