Gabi

Originally from New York, Gabi received her B.A. in European History and certificate in European Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2012. During her time there, she served as a peer tutor in history and regularly worked with children at a local elementary school on a range of different subjects. During her junior year she studied abroad in Prague, Czech Republic, which allowed her to engage in European history first-hand.

Following her time in Madison, Gabi attended American University in Washington D.C., receiving her Master of Public Policy. For two years, Gabi served as a historical research assistant under the Director of Political Theory Institute, primarily conducting American Civil War research.

Gabi’s passion for history began at an early age and took off when she was selected as a history tutor for younger students while she was a senior in high school. While she now works full time in the D.C. policy arena, her love of the subject continues to grow.

In her free time, Gabi visits the many museums and galleries of D.C., attends too many spin classes, and can always be found rooting for the Wisconsin Badgers.
